We must go to the Historic Center of Lima, to visit its colonial houses that during the colony have been connected with an architectural style typical of Spanish influence, such as large samples of doors, balconies and windows of strong Moorish influence. Also with closed balconies, of Andalucian influence. In the eighteenth century, the French style had been brought at arrrival with Viceroy Amat, many of these had constructions with carved medallions, moldings, scrolls and feminine curves, wood paneling, all painted in bright colors, indigo blue, yellow, green and bright pink of great prevalence.

08:00 A.M. Pick up from your hotel or place to indicate, transfer to the Historic Center of Lima.
AM Arrival at the Casa de Pilatos. It was built in the 16th century, with a simple façade, and its portal is a beautiful stone work. It has two balconies, one on the corner, and inside a monumental staircase. Grim legends of its former owners were attributed to this mansion. It is currently the Peruvian Constitutional Tribunal.
AM Thirteen Coins House.It was built in the middle of the 18th century, this one-story mansion preserves its original architectural elements.
– Quinta Heeren. It is located in the Barrios Altos district, stands this quinta built by the German engineer Oscar Heeren, being in its time one of the most beautiful places in this part of the city. The quinta is a set of well distributed houses whose corridors lead to a small square in front of a fence.
– Goyeneche´s House. Also its called the De Rada´s House, it was built in the 18th century, and is one of the first houses in Lima that shows great French influence.
– Torre Tagle Palace. One of the mansion that it was built at the end of the 17th century by José B. Tagle, a jewel of colonial architecture, with a predominance of the Baroque style and Mudejar influence. Its carved stone doorway and two beautiful carved wooden balconies, the most beautiful in Lima, inside a sumptuous barroque Sevillian patio; on the second floor the Hall of Treaties stands out. The largest room features period furniture. It is currently the External Relationship Ministery Palace

PM De la Riva´s House. The beautiful colonial mansion, large stately portal and barred windows, built in the 18th century. In its exterior balconies of beautiful wood carving. Its rooms preserve many of the original elements; the second patio has a captivating romantic atmosphere. It is currently the headquarters of the Entre Nous Cultural Association.
– Riva Agüero´s House. Beautiful colonial mansion that houses the Riva Agüero Institute, its the Center for Humanistic Studies of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Lima. It also houses the Museum of Traditions and Popular Arts, a collection of pieces of popular art from Peru.
PM Oquendo´s House or Osambela´s Palace. It was completed in 1807, it preserves the architectural style of Lima from the 18th century. Its five imposing exterior balconies stand out, and the viewpoint at the top where its first owner Martín de Osambela used to see the arrival of the galleons in Callao´s harbor
– Aliaga´s House. It was built on the pre-Inca shrine of the curaca Tauli Chusco (main authority of the Rímac Valley upon the arrival of the Spanish in 1535) Francisco Pizarro assigned these lands to his companion of conquest Jerónimo de Aliaga, and since then the mansion has been inhabited by his descendants. In addition to its historical value, it has the beauty of its architecture.
